Where is the American hero?

Recently I written an essay for a Christian University given the topic: What fictional or historical character do you identify yourself with? I chose an interesting (forgotten) character of our country’s history, because that is who I am. Interestingly forgotten.   What seems to be dying out in our country are heroes. Americans once… Continue reading Where is the American hero?

13 Reasons Why Hillary Has Lost (And America Has Won)

We did it. This Historical event that happened on Tuesday November 8th 2016 proved that the People are fed up with the failure of the liberal party. We have spoken. We had our silent protest at the ballot. We want our country back by giving the Republican Party upper control of the government. The Republicans… Continue reading 13 Reasons Why Hillary Has Lost (And America Has Won)

Why Bernie Sanders is using Wall Street as a scapegoat

The United States is a giant island of freedom, achievement, wealth and prosperity in a world hostile to our values. – Phyllis Schlafly

Demonizing “Wall Street” is as foolish as demonizing “Broadway” because you dislike theater. Yes, there are people who have worked in companies located in buildings on Wall Street that have behaved reprehensibly.

That fact doesn’t discredit the honest success of the free market.

Bernie shamelessly demonizes Wall Street in order to promote the politics of envy from which he hopes to become the beneficiary. Bernie only speaks on expanding the Government, NOT economy. (Take note on how he never calls out the Feds.)

So when little companies do try to grow as they should, and baby businesses that please their customers tend to become big businesses–that is a no in socialism.  Bernie sees demons when businesses band together geographically-on Wall Street.

This closely mirrors how secular fundamentalists tend to see any group of people positively working together. By contrast, the Godly model of social organization is a vast and unrestrained network of human connection.  A model that resembles the neurological connections in a human brain. Yet, another harsh reminder to the progressive left that humans hold a higher value, duty and obligation than a beaver.

Therefore, when Any individual interacts with another whether to build a family or business, the Government Must step in. Secular fundamentalist governments (Bernie wants) tend to discourage traditional family life as they discourage privately owned businesses. Freedom and human relationships goes completely against the left wing. And what a coincidence, both the family nuclear and private companies are under attack.

Lastly, who did cause the financial mortgage collapse? Was it the evil bankers of Wall Street? Or was it perhaps Senator Chris Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank and their Community Reinvestment Act empowering regulators to punish banks that failed to “meet the credit needs” of “low-income, minority, and distressed neighborhoods” which forced banks to make a quota of housing loans to high risk borrowers? But of course Congressman Frank who famously said in 2003, “I want to roll the dice a little bit more in this situation toward subsidized housing” blamed the crisis on the greed of Wall Street.

Preventing people to reach their full potential is not only damaging to the economy, but evil. It creates an atmosphere of laziness, racism (because now others who did worked hard to get what they earned have a sense of superiority over the minorities.) envy and discriminates. The opportunity to succeed should always be available- Not a hand out. Which in reality, is an insult on the people.

Keep in mind there is a big difference between a bank (company, church, education or family) making its own decisions versus being forced to act in accordance with what politicians want it to do.

Wall Street is a convenient political whipping boy and contrasts nicely with the politician’s polemic of ‘Standing for Main Street against Wall Street.’  Of course without Wall Street, Main Street’s car dealership wouldn’t be making any car loans.

God’s plan for human economic interaction was for His children to engage in free, honest, voluntary and transparent economic exchange for their benefit because, like marriage and family, business brings people together.
